School for Gifted and Talented CIC – Parents & Carers Statement


At School for Gifted and Talented CIC, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority.

  • We believe that all children have the right to feel safe, respected and supported when learning with us.
  • Our staff and tutors are carefully recruited, trained, and DBS-checked.
  • We have a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) responsible for child protection and wellbeing. If you ever have a concern, you can contact them directly.
  • We follow national safeguarding guidance (Keeping Children Safe in Education and Working Together to Safeguard Children).
  • We teach in safe environments, whether in person or online. Parents are always informed of online sessions, and children are never left unsupervised.
  • If we ever believe a child may be at risk of harm, we will act immediately and, if necessary, share concerns with the appropriate safeguarding authorities.
